Xora and Little Venice, unique villages
Xora, Chora (or χορα) in Greek, is the name of the center. Here you can visit little Venice and get lost in its streets full of shops, restaurants, cafes that, without saying anything else, are an architectural gem. Right in the Center, you can also visit one of the Mykonos icons, where they have been in charge of maintaining the old mills.
If on your way through Mykonos, you are looking for archaeological sites, also visit the Island of Delos. Tours and tours are organized to this island, where it is said that it was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and is the terrace of the Lions, a UNESCO heritage site.
Always you will hear or read people comparing these islands, and frankly, you cant compare Mykonos and Ibiza. Despite Mykonos and Ibiza are in the Mediterranean sea, you can find many differences. There is no comparison point, but, with a huge difference, we state Mykonos has: deep Greek cuisine, dynamic nightlife, good quality beaches, and longer summer.
